We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Coral Spring FL. This is an office-based role that requires full time in-office attendance.

This position is responsible to independently perform the company’s bookkeeping, accounting and administrative activities including:

Maintain accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records

Execute accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Coordinate company insurance policies, renewals, audits, claims, and certificates of insurance. Track subcontractor insurance certificates and required compliance documents.

 

Maintain and renew contractor licenses, business licenses, registrations, and permits. Monitor expiration dates and ensure required filings are completed on time.

 

Provide general administrative assistance, including correspondence, scheduling, filing, document preparation, and recordkeeping

 

Work with outside accountants for monthly review of records 

Key Accounting Responsibilities

·       Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts

·       Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial accounts

·       Prepare and post journal entries

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports

·       Maintain complete documentation for financial transactions

·       Support  tax preparation, and year-end closing

·       Maintain strict confidentiality of company and financial information

Qualifications

·       At least 5 years full-charge bookkeeping experience

·       Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·       Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

·       Construction bookkeeping desirable

·       Conversational Spanish a plus
